What is Kybella?

Your body already makes deoxycholic acid to break down dietary fat. Kybella is simply a synthetic form of deoxycholic acid and when it is injected, it dissolves fat so that your body can absorb it.

What is the procedure like?

Kybella is injected directly into the pad of fat beneath your chin in a series of small injections that take about 20 minutes. You may need six treatments to achieve optimal results. There may be temporary redness and soreness at the injection site, but you can resume normal activities immediately.
